Dear Soldier,
We enjoy family and friends and can sleep peacefully at night knowing you protect us. Since America’s founding, you have been our protector, ever vigilant, always willing to pay the high cost of freedom. You do your duty enduring frigid winters, as well as jungle and desert heat. Thirsty, hungry, stretched to the limit, you continue to honor your oath to America with courage and sacrifice, not knowing if death will soon be your fate. We, the protected, live out our days pursuing our hopes and dreams while many of you come home physically or mentally damaged. Some pay the ultimate sacrifice and do not come home. Words cannot express our gratitude for your selfless patriotism to America, your unwavering bravery, and your faithful sacrifice. Well done. God bless you all. Love, America |
